Room at the Inn’s Capital Campaign is off to a great start. We have raised over $300,000 from individuals and local and national organizations toward our goal of $350,000. Sunday, October 4th, 2016, was the two-year anniversary of our warming center opening for business, and we have been excited for all the people we have been able to serve, and so grateful for all of you who have been so generous with your donations and contributions.
Our warming center has been a very busy place as more and more people have “discovered” us in our new location on Washington Street. We served more than 1,200 meals each month during our first year of operation, and last year that number grew to 1,500 meals per month. This season we’re averaging 1,800-2,000 meals per month. Please help us to be the “Hand Up” that so many people in our community need.
